Job summary

The Lygon Arms Hotel in Broadway is seeking a Spa Attendant to uphold the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness across the spa facilities.

The role requires proactive guest service, keen attention to detail and a professional appearance, with shifts 6am–2.30pm and 1.30pm–10pm across weekends and 5 days out of 7.

Salary is £26,436 per year plus a non-contractual annual service charge of around £4k, meals on duty, recognition awards and opportunities for career development.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering high standards of face-to-face service.
• Keen eye for detail and strong organizational skills.
• Well-presented and professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Keep changing rooms and pool clean with checks every 30 minutes.
• Maintain cleanliness of fitness equipment and support teamwork.
• Report any faults to Spa Manager.
• Assist guests with queries, escalating to Senior Manager when needed.
• Complete Pool Responder training within one month of starting.
• Manage pool water records and filing.
• Keep the plant room safe, tidy, hazard-free.

Role Details:

• Shifts: 6am – 2.30pm and 1.30pm - 10pm, including weekends (5 days out of 7)

Spa Attendant - Aim of the Role:

To uphold the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the Spa.

Spa Attendant - Responsibilities:

• Cleanliness:Regularly check changing rooms and swimming pool for cleanliness every 30 minutes
• Fitness Equipment:Maintain cleanliness and ensure teamwork and flexibility
• Maintenance:Report any faults to the Spa Manager
• Guest Assistance:Help guests and members with queries, referring to a Senior Manager if needed
• Pool Safety:Complete a Pool Responder training course within one month of commencing the role to ensure compliance with pool health and safety standards.
• Pool Testing:Manage pool water records and ensure proper filing
• Plant Room:Keep the plant room safe, tidy, and hazard-free
