Job summary

Center Parcs Aqua Sana Forest Spa is seeking a Spa Assistant / Lifeguard (Trainee and Qualified) at Whinfell Forest. You will help ensure guest safety, provide friendly service, and maintain a calm, pristine spa environment.

Trainee candidates must complete a 5-day NPLQ course; a DBS check is required. This part-time role guarantees 128 hours over 4 weeks, with early mornings, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.

Qualifications

• RLSS Pool Lifeguard or NARS qualification preferred; trainees must pass NPLQ course.
• DBS check required before start.
• Must be able to swim test as part of interview process.

Bring calm, care and confidence to every guest

Join our team as a Spa Assistant / Lifeguard and help create a safe, cleanand tranquil environment for our guests. You'll deliver exceptional service while maintaining the high standards and serene atmosphere of our Aqua Sana Forest Spa.

What you'll be doing

• Provide lifeguard support and ensure guest safety at all times
• Deliver outstanding customer service to enhance the guest experience
• Maintain cleanliness and ambience through daily spa upkeep and deep cleaning routines
• Support general maintenance to uphold spa presentation and hygiene standards

Please note Trainee candidates must attend a 5-day NPLQ course and employment will be subject to passing the course.

Your working hours

• Part‑time contract, shifts fall between 6:00am to 9:30pm
• You will be contracted to work a guaranteed minimum of 128 hours over a 4‑week period. You may be asked to work additional hours in line with operational requirements
• This role includes early mornings, evenings, alternate weekends and bank holidays

About you

• RLSS Pool Lifeguard / NARS Qualification- for Qualified Lifeguards
• Clear communicator with strong time management, attention to detail and initiative
• Ability to build positive relationships across all levels and work well in a team
• Friendly, genuine and warm towards guests and colleagues

As part of the interview process, candidates are required to complete a swim test.

Note: You'll need to complete a DBS check before starting (we'll help with that).
