Job summary

Inizio is seeking a Governance and Controls Lead within Global Finance Services (GFS) to own the SOX control framework and act as the primary liaison for audits. The role oversees master data governance for vendors and customers and reports on KPIs, SLAs and risk trends across RTR and GFS towers.

You will lead a team including a Data Accountant and Master Data Lead, partnering with Heads of Function to embed control readiness and drive governance standards across the global organisation.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in SOX compliance and internal controls within a global SSC/GBS.
• Experience coordinating internal and external audits across multi-process shared services.
• Governing finance master data including vendor and customer data is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and evolve the GFS SOX control framework across all process towers.
• Set standards for control documentation, evidence quality and cross-process consistency.
• Lead CSA programme within RTR and coordinate CSA activity with GFS counterparts.
• Act as primary liaison for internal and external audits within RTR and coordinate testing.
• Coordinate GFS-wide audit activity and report outcomes to leadership.
• Own quality standards through KPI, SLA and error-trend monitoring.
• Lead master data governance and data quality standards for vendors and customers.
• Identify and elevate operational, financial and compliance risks across GFS.
• Govern new processes and system implementations ensuring control readiness before go-live.
• Provide governance reporting and insight to GFS and Finance leadership.
• Report on service quality across GFS process towers with timely insights.
