Job summary

Investigo is seeking a SOX Manager to join its controls and governance function within a leading financial services group. You will drive the SOX programme, partner with Finance, Risk, Treasury, Operations and Front Office to ensure robust controls.

The role offers high visibility, scope to shape the evolving SOX framework, and leadership responsibility to mentor junior team members while delivering audit readiness and process improvements across the organisation.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA or CPA or equivalent required.
• Strong SOX, internal controls or audit experience.
• Financial services experience is essential.
• Background in banking, capital markets, brokerage, asset management or a regulated financial institution.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Big 4 experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Managing SOX risk assessments, control testing and compliance activities
• Reviewing control frameworks, RCMs and process documentation
• Assessing control deficiencies and supporting remediation plans
• Liaising with external auditors and senior stakeholders
• Supporting annual SOX scoping and testing programmes
• Driving control enhancements, automation and process improvements
• Managing and developing junior team members
