Job summary

Citi is seeking a SOX Coordinator (Issue Management Lead Analyst) to drive KPMG SSAE-18 and SOX audits across Citi Technology. You will lead planning, execution, and governance with external auditors, technology process owners, and senior leadership to ensure audit readiness and strong controls.

The role offers hybrid working and a broad view of risk across a global tech footprint. The ideal candidate has deep SOX/GITC knowledge, strong leadership, and excellent communication to influence senior

Qualifications

Experience in technology risk, IT audit, or technology controls in a global financial services environment.
Leadership experience in supporting internal and/or external technology audits.
Deep knowledge of SOX GITCs and SSAE-18 / SOC 1 exam management frameworks.
Ability to identify, assess and manage technology risks and controls.
Familiarity with policies, standards, and regulatory alignment.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end lifecycle of KPMG SSAE-18, SOX Integrated, and Statutory Audits for technology.
Coordinate deliverables to ensure quality, completeness and timely submission to auditors.
Perform root cause analyses of control deficiencies and design corrective actions.
Provide governance oversight and escalation as per Citi policies.
Drive continuous process improvement and post-exam lessons learned.
Develop governance frameworks and training to uplift audit readiness.
Report progress, risks, and remediation status to senior stakeholders.
