Job summary

Santander in Milton Keynes is seeking a Sarbanes Oxley Finance Manager (S3) to join the Chief Finance Office. This 12 Month FTC role sits within the SOX team, responsible for testing, monitoring and enhancements of controls over financial reporting across Santander.

The role requires deep accounting knowledge, banking experience, and strong communication skills to partner with stakeholders and address control deficiencies with timely remediation.

Qualifications

• Controls/internal control experience preferred.
• Accounting knowledge desirable.
• Understanding of banking/large financial services organisations preferred.
• Understanding of risk and risk management required.
• English language proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Provide advice, assistance, and good practice guidance to business contacts to maintain an effective S-Ox environment.
• Perform design and operating effectiveness testing of controls per internal procedures and CSA campaigns.
• Support projects to ensure controls are updated and fit for purpose.
• Collaborate with business contacts to identify root causes and implement remediation.
• Track and report remediation status and test results to stakeholders.
• Maintain high standards of quality and continuous improvement of the S-Ox framework.
