Job summary

WPR in the United Kingdom is seeking a Finance SOX Specialist to lead the day-to-day activities, strengthen the control framework, and provide assurance over financial reporting. You will work with Finance, Technology, Risk, Internal Audit and External Audit teams to ensure controls are designed and operating effectively.

The role requires ACA/ACCA/CIMA with 3 years PQE, extensive SOX experience, and strong stakeholder management in a large multi-system environment.

Qualifications

• Fully ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with minimum 3 years PQE.
• Strong knowledge of COSO framework and SOX methodology.

Responsibilities

• Lead finance SOX control framework and SME roles.
• Maintain control documentation and evidence requirements.
• Administer SOX controls in the GRC tool and coordinate evidence.
• Coordinate walkthroughs, testing, and audits with multiple teams.
• Improve finance process and EUC documentation for SOX compliance.
• Manage remediation and status reporting for audit findings.
