Job summary

VIQU IT is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to join a defence-aligned project in the United Kingdom. You will work across the stack, building Python back-end services and a TypeScript front end, with deployments to air-gapped environments and on-site integration.

You will collaborate with senior engineers to deliver features end-to-end, ensuring security, reliability and performance under strict government standards and customer deadlines.

Qualifications

• Serious commercial experience building back end services, APIs and tooling.
• Serious commercial front-end experience with modern frameworks.
• Comfortable in secure, air-gapped environments with on-site deployments.
• Track record of shipping whole features from database to browser.
• Experience with containers and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to stay composed under strict deadlines and high expectations.
• Willingness to travel to UK customer sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Python back end services and APIs.
• Develop React/TypeScript front ends used by operators.
• Ship features end-to-end from design to production.
• Deploy to air-gapped environments and assist on-site integration.
• Collaborate with CTO/customer to scope and validate work.
