Dalata Hotel Group is seeking an Assistant Director of Sales for the Southwest region, covering Clayton Hotel Birmingham, Clayton Hotel Cardiff and Clayton Hotel Bristol. The role reports to the DOS with dotted line to Group Sales UK, focusing on driving revenue, leading the sales team and developing strategic relationships with national and global clients.

Competenze

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar hotel sales position.
• Strong leadership skills with team management experience.
• Effective communicator with commercial awareness and analytical ability.
• Excellent organisation and planning skills; sales-driven and results-oriented.
• Knowledge of the Southwest market is essential.

Mansioni

• Plan and direct day-to-day operations of the sales function to maximise revenue and profitability.
• Coach and develop the sales team to drive revenues across segments.
• Lead day-to-day sales activities: lead generation, meetings, contracting, rate negotiation, site visits, trade shows, client entertainment and national/international sales trips.
• Represent the hotel at sales team meetings and events as required.
• Develop and nurture relationships with key national and global clients through ongoing account management.
• Input to pricing strategy and forecasting with DOSM, GM and Revenue Manager.
