Job summary

Interaction Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of our client, a rapidly growing UK materials handling provider, for an Area Sales Manager to cover the Southwest. You will manage an established customer portfolio, win new business, and drive territory growth through consultative selling and in-depth product demonstrations.

Based in Devizes, the role offers a competitive salary with a company car, laptop and mobile, plus 24 days holiday and a pension.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' sales experience within the materials handling/forklift industry.
• Proven track record in new business development.
• Strong account management and customer development skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation abilities.
• Experience with solution-based/consultative sales.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across the Southwest.
• Visit prospective customers to generate new sales.
• Manage and develop existing customer accounts.
• Prepare and present customer quotations.
• Negotiate pricing and close sales.
• Conduct customer presentations and equipment demonstrations.
• Maintain CRM data and plan territory.
