Job summary

LT Selection is recruiting a Learner Engagement Advisor for an education and training provider delivering Adult Skills Fund programmes across South Yorkshire. You will connect local residents with training that helps them gain qualifications, develop their skills and progress into employment or further learning.

You must be based in South Yorkshire and able to travel across the region for face-to-face meetings, events and outreach activities.

Qualifications

• A Level 2 qualification in Information, Advice or Guidance.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Based in South Yorkshire with ability to travel across the region.
• Experience with government-funded programmes.
• Good knowledge of local communities and skills needs.
• Clear, empathetic communication and IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Promote Adult Skills Fund programmes through community outreach and events.
• Build and maintain relationships with Jobcentre Plus, community organisations and partners.
• Provide information, advice and guidance to learners.
• Support applicants through initial assessment, funding eligibility checks and enrolment.
• Manage learner caseloads and progression to further training or employment.
• Use knowledge of local communities to reach residents facing barriers to learning or work.
• Represent the provider at community events and stakeholder meetings.
• Maintain accurate learner records and enrolment documentation.
