Job summary

Downing seeks a Regional Business Development Manager to drive growth across the South West region (Devon & Cornwall). You will manage relationships with Independent Financial Advisers, networks and Discretionary Fund Managers, handling the full sales cycle from prospecting to onboarding and retention.

The ideal candidate brings 8+ years in financial services, strong evidence of AUM growth, and a consultative sales approach with regional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 8+ years' experience in financial services.
• Proven record of new business generation and AUM growth.
• Experience managing a regional panel of adviser firms.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the South West.

Responsibilities

• Drive net new business growth and increase AUM across IFA firms, networks and DFM distribution in the South West.
• Build and manage client senior relationships across the region.
• Promote Downing's propositions and translate technical detail into commercial value.
• Deliver technical workshops, seminars and events to strengthen adviser relationships.
• Provide accurate forecasting and reporting on pipeline and regional performance.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Operations, Legal and Marketing to support onboarding and growth.
