Job summary

RGB Recruitment Ltd seeks a proactive Fire Alarm Sales Engineer for the South West, covering Somerset, Devon and Cornwall. The role focuses on identifying opportunities, building client relationships and delivering fire alarm solutions from design through to installation where required.

You will travel extensively, ride out on customer sites, and support the sales cycle with technical input and quotations. A competitive package includes car allowance, pension and commission.

Qualifications

• Self-motivated and keen to develop a career in sales.
• Confident in building professional relationships with clients, contractors and consultants.
• Able to manage a sales pipeline and maintain accurate CRM records.

Responsibilities

• Act as a proactive member of the South West sales team.
• Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients to support repeat business.
• Identify and secure new clients and opportunities within the defined sales area.
• Use the CRM system to make sales calls, arrange appointments, track opportunities and forecast activity.
• Work towards agreed sales targets across the defined territory.
• Carry out specifier selling with M&E consultants, local authorities, end clients and electrical contractors.
• Produce fire alarm designs and quotations for various packages.
• Provide technical support to electrical contractors purchasing fire alarm equipment or services.
• Carry out site surveys for small works and system upgrades.
• Complete tender and bid documentation where required.
• Liaise with internal teams to develop schemes and quotations.
• Deliver demonstrations and client meetings as required.
• Manage client accounts and liaise with credit control.
