Job summary
Get Staff seeks an experienced Fire Alarm Engineer to join a permanent, full-time team across customer sites in Southwest London. The role covers installation, testing, commissioning, servicing and maintenance of fire alarm systems, smoke detection and emergency lighting, with fault diagnosis and repairs to keep systems safe and compliant.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, capable of managing installation and service work, and will communicate well with customers on-site.
Qualifications
- Proven experience installing, testing and commissioning fire alarm systems.
- Strong knowledge of BS 5839 and related fire safety regulations.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to customer sites.
Responsibilities
- Install, test and ideally commission fire alarm systems in line with standards.
- Carry out planned servicing and maintenance of fire alarms and related systems.
- Diagnose faults, undertake repairs and ensure systems remain compliant.
- Complete service reports and commissioning documentation accurately.
- Provide professional technical support to customers while upholding health and safety.
