Job summary

Air Products is seeking an Installation and Maintenance Technician to support maintenance services across UK&I, with a focus on South Wales sites and operations.

Role involves troubleshooting, installation, preventive maintenance, and some design of control and instrumentation systems, including commissioning activities for projects and equipment sales. Requires COMPEX and electrical inspection qualifications, plus PLC knowledge.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer facing service/installation role.
• Qualified for field instrumentation in flammable atmospheres (COMPEX).
• Electrical inspection and testing on electrical systems.
• Knowledge of PLC controlled systems and fault finding.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe operation and legal compliance of sites.
• Plan inspections using SAP and respond to unplanned maintenance.
• Install, troubleshoot and service control and instrumentation systems.
• Document work in written and electronic form.
