Mitchells & Butlers PLC’s Kings Head - Harvester in the UK is seeking a passionate Sous Chef who leads a kitchen section with energy and pride. You’ll train your team, drive consistency and step up in the Head Chef’s absence to keep service running smoothly.

You’ll work with a branded menu, manage food ordering and stock, and ensure high standards of hygiene and guest satisfaction while supporting a collaborative kitchen team.

Qualifications

• Experience as a sous chef or senior line cook.
• Ability to lead a kitchen team in the absence of the Head Chef.
• Experience with branded menus, food ordering and stock management.

Responsibilities

• Be driven to smash targets with your team.
• Train and inspire your team to deliver food to be proud of.
• Support your Head Chef with food ordering, food preparation and stock control.
• Have mastered the art of working with a branded menu.
• Have confidence in managing Chefs and the wider Kitchen Team.
• Oversee that your team conforms to health and hygiene regulations.
