Mitchells & Butlers PLC’s Ego - Stockton Heath in Warrington is seeking a Sous Chef to lead a busy kitchen, guide a team, and step up when the Head Chef is absent. You will champion great food, training, and excellent guest service in a branded pub environment.

We look for passion for quality, ability to train staff, and a proactive approach to kitchen management to contribute to our positive dining experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a kitchen team and coordinating staff.
• Experience in food ordering, preparation and stock control.
• Experience working with branded menus.
• Ability to manage chefs and the wider kitchen team.

Responsibilities

• Be driven to smash targets with your team.
• Train and inspire your team to deliver food to be proud of.
• Support Head Chef with food ordering, food preparation and stock control.
• Have mastered the art of working with a branded menu.
• Have confidence in managing Chefs and the wider Kitchen Team.
• Oversee that your team conforms to health and hygiene regulations.
