Miller & Carter - Southampton, part of Mitchells & Butlers plc, is seeking a Sous Chef who leads a kitchen section, trains staff and steps in for the Head Chef as needed. You will drive quality and ensure the team works as one to deliver excellent meals.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a kitchen section and training teams to deliver quality dishes.
• Ability to manage ordering, prep and stock with the Head Chef support.
• Proven track record maintaining health and hygiene standards in a busy kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Be driven to smash targets with your team.
• Train and inspire your team to deliver food to be proud of.
• Support your Head Chef with food ordering, food preparation and stock control.
• Have mastered the art of working with a branded menu.
• Have confidence in managing Chefs and the wider Kitchen Team.
• Oversee that your team conforms to health and hygiene regulations.
