Job summary

Prezzo Italian is seeking a high-energy Sous Chef in the UK to support the Head Chef and be number two in the kitchen. You will help deliver freshly prepared pasta, pizza and Italian favourites with pride, while leading the team and maintaining kitchen standards.

Excellent working rhythm with regular hours at your home restaurant and the option to pick up shifts at other Prezzo locations. Benefits include discounts, meals on shift, and growth across the Prezzo family.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Sous Chef in a busy kitchen.
• Able to deputise for Head Chef and lead a team.
• Understanding of stock, waste and kitchen costs.
• Commitment to high standards of food safety and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Lead the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence and oversee the team.
• Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality Italian dishes.
• Assist with stock control, waste management and cost control.
• Support with rostering and shifts to maintain balance.
