Job summary

Prezzo Italian in the UK is looking for a high-energy Sous Chef to be number two in the kitchen, supporting the Head Chef and deputising when required. You’ll lead a busy team, drive food quality, and help manage stock and costs to keep operations smooth and profitable.

You’ll work closely with the Head Chef and General Manager to create great dining experiences for guests, with opportunities to grow within the Prezzo family across the brand network.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Sous Chef or strong Chef looking to step up in a busy, fast-paced kitchen.
• Understanding of stock, waste and kitchen costs to support an efficient operation.
• Focus on food quality, consistency, cleanliness and HACCP standards.
• Ability to coach people and build a strong kitchen team.
• Commitment to delivering a great guest experience from the kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Be number two in the kitchen and deputise for the Head Chef as needed.
• Help develop a brilliant team and work with Head Chef and General Manager.
• Deliver consistently great food and maintain high kitchen standards.
• Support with stock, waste and costs to optimise kitchen performance.
