Job summary

Aramark UK is hiring a Sous Chef at RMA Sandhurst, Camberley. You’ll work closely with the Catering Manager to deliver high standards, follow menus and allergen guidelines, and lead kitchen operations when the Head Chef is away.

This full-time, 37.5-hour role offers a competitive salary of £30,289.33, opportunities for development, and benefits including discounted meals, parking, and pension. UK residency required; DBS checks and security vetting apply.

Qualifications

• UK residency for the past 3 years and legal right to work.
• Level 3 Food Safety and Health Safety requirements.
• NVQ Levels 2/3 in Culinary or equal.
• Experience in a fast-paced high-volume kitchen.
• Strong leadership and kitchen-management capability.

Responsibilities

• Lead kitchen operations when the Head Chef is away.
• Prepare dishes to spec, following recipes and allergen guidelines.
• Manage food production, reduce waste, and maintain stock control.
• Receive and store deliveries using FIFO procedures.
• Allocate tasks and mentor the kitchen team.
• Maintain hygiene standards and oversee deep cleans.
• Ensure all team members are trained and compliant.
