Job summary

Aramark UK at Royal Military Academy Sandhurst is hiring a Chef to join our kitchen team. You will prepare and cook meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner services, following recipe cards to ensure consistency and quality.

This role offers fixed shifts, full-time hours (37.5 per week), and benefits such as discounted meals, on-site parking, and career development opportunities. You will be part of a team committed to high standards, food safety, and excellent service.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 culinary or equivalent required.
• Food hygiene certificate – Level 2 required.
• Fluent in English language communications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner services.
• Deliver silver service-level catering for hospitality events.
• Follow recipe cards to ensure consistency and quality.
• Support and train new team members.
• Manage stock, place food orders, and maintain kitchen records.
• Monitor food safety standards and complete due diligence paperwork.
• Assist with deliveries and deep cleaning routines.

Job description

Location: RMA Sandhurst, Camberley, GU15 4PQ
Salary: £28,880.52 (£14.76 per hour)
Hours: Permanent, full-time, 37.5 hours per week, 5 days out of 7
Shift patterns: Variable shifts (Earlies, Middles, Lates) between 05:30 and 20:30

What you will do:

• Deliver silver service-level catering for hospitality events
• Follow recipe cards to ensure consistency and quality
• Support and train new team members
• Manage stock, place food orders, and maintain kitchen records
• Monitor food safety standards and complete due diligence paperwork
• Assist with deliveries and deep cleaning routines.

What we're looking for:

• NVQ Level 2 culinary or equivalent
• Food hygiene certificate – Level 2
• Confident chef and excellent team player
• Proficient level of spoken English
• Flexible, innovative, and passionate about food
• Able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks
• Must have lived in the UK for the past 3 years and have the legal right to work
