Fego in Ascot is seeking a motivated chef to join a busy kitchen where dishes are prepared from fresh ingredients. This day-only role requires weekend availability and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

You will assist in prep, help run the kitchen, manage orders and stock rotation, and uphold food safety standards. The role offers a competitive base salary with a TRONC share, performance bonuses, free meals on shift, and a 50% guest discount.

Qualifications

• Daily prep and forward planning are key for this role.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily prep and cooking tasks.
• Help run the kitchen and deputise for head chef when needed.
• Assist with ordering, stock rotation and inventory control.
• Uphold food safety and health and safety compliance; maintain kitchen standards.
