Job summary

FEGO Beaconsfield is seeking a Sous Chef to join our Beaconsfield kitchen as the Head Chef’s right hand, taking charge of day-to-day operations and helping the team deliver high-quality dishes with speed and consistency.

This daytime-only role avoids late-night finishes and offers opportunities to lead the kitchen, manage stock and ordering, ensure food safety, and drive kitchen standards and training while you enjoy a better work-life balance.

Sous Chef – FEGO Beaconsfield

We’re looking for a Sous Chef to join our FEGO team in Beaconsfield.

Looking for a chef role where you can cook great food, take on real responsibility and still have your evenings back?

FEGO is a daytime-only business, so there are no late-night finishes or closing the kitchen at midnight. We do require weekend availability as these are some of our busiest days, but working at FEGO gives you a much better work-life balance than many traditional hospitality kitchens.

Being a Sous Chef at FEGO

As Sous Chef, you’ll be the Head Chef’s right hand, helping with the day-to-day running of our Beaconsfield kitchen and stepping up to lead the team in their absence.

You’ll be hands-on with daily prep and service, making sure dishes go out quickly, consistently and to the standard our guests expect. Good organization, forward planning and the ability to stay calm during a busy service are key.

Alongside cooking, you’ll support the Head Chef with ordering, stock management and rotation, food safety and health & safety compliance, kitchen standards and developing the wider kitchen team.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced chef ready for more responsibility, or an existing Sous Chef looking for a role with a better balance while still working in a busy, fresh-food kitchen.
