Job summary

Fego in Ascot is seeking a motivated chef to join a busy kitchen where dishes are prepared from fresh ingredients. This day-only role requires weekend availability and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

You will assist in prep, help run the kitchen, manage orders and stock rotation, and uphold food safety standards. The role offers a competitive base salary with a TRONC share, performance bonuses, free meals on shift, and a 50% guest discount.

Fantastic chef opportunity to join our friendly Fego team. We are a day only business, but do require weekend availability.

Being a Chef with Fego:

You will be joining a busy kitchen team where all our dishes are cooked from scratch using fresh ingredients. Daily prep and forward planning are key for this role, as well as being able to work well under pressure.

As well as helping with prep you will be involved in areas of cooking, helping to run the kitchen and acting as the right-hand for the head chef and deputising in their absence.

You will help with ordering, stock rotation and management, food safety and health and safety compliance and maintaining kitchen standards.
