Location: London - City of London

Salary: up to £39,582 per annum + events overtime paid

Hours: 40 hours per week + events overtime, Monday to Friday

Job Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to craft dishes that nourish and delight.
  • Deliver breakfast and lunch for meetings, plus canapés, finger foods, and fine dining for events.
  • Assist in creating and executing high-end plated dishes, buffets, canapés, and finger foods for corporate and private events.
  • Play a key role in large-scale event delivery and VIP functions.
  • Oversee kitchen operations, including food prep, service, stock control, and compliance with food safety standards.
  • Contribute to menu development and maintain culinary standards, stepping in as needed when the Head Chef is away.
  • Support the wider kitchen team, including retail restaurant support, ensuring high standards across all areas.
Qualifications
  • Experience in a similar role, preferably within contract catering or educational institutions.
  • Culinary degree or relevant certification.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a high-volume environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to work evenings as required.
  • Enthusiastic, organized, and a team player.
