A leading Essex-based firm is seeking a Litigation Solicitor to join their Dispute Resolution Department. The successful candidate will work in a busy environment, handling various disputes, and will be part of a reputable team. The firm values experience and is open to considering newly qualified solicitors or senior paralegals with relevant expertise. This is a full-time position with hybrid options available.

Job description

We are seeking a Litigation Solicitor to join the Dispute Resolution Department of an award-winning Essex-based firm.

The successful applicant will be able to work as part of a team in a busy department, have an eye for detail, and possess experience in the following areas:

1. Residential possession proceedings (essential)
2. Residential Landlord and Tenant disputes (essential)
3. Contract Disputes (desirable)
4. Debt Recovery (desirable)
5. Land disputes (trespass/easements, etc.) (desirable)
6. Contentious Probate (desirable)
7. Employment (desirable)

The department is well-established, handles a heavy workload, and comprises a close-knit, highly reputable team. The firm is seeking an experienced Solicitor with around 3-4+ years PQE; however, they are also open to considering candidates who are Newly Qualified or Senior Paralegals if they can demonstrate relevant experience at a similar-sized firm.

Hours are Monday – Friday, 9:00 am – 5:30 pm, with an hour for lunch.

Job type: Full-time, Hybrid considered.
