McMullen & Sons Ltd, a long-established family-run business, invites you to join Destination Inns as a Sous Chef. If you are passionate about fresh food and a seriously relaxed country dining experience, you will help deliver a classic British menu and daily specials while supporting the Head Chef.

We offer an achievable bonus scheme, a contracted 45 hours per week, shift flexibility, and excellent live-in accommodation if required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a busy kitchen is essential.
• Ability to deliver the food concept to standard and guest expectations.
• Willing to develop, take responsibility and stay calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the food concept to standard and exceed guest expectations.
• Handle stock control including ordering, deliveries, stock taking and waste control.
• Support Head Chef and deputise in their absence.
• Train and develop the kitchen team, ensuring food safety and health & safety compliance.
