McMullen’s is seeking a Sous Chef for Chicken & Grill pubs, a key part of the McMullen’s family. You will be passionate about delivering fresh rotisserie chicken, chargrilled meats and pub classics, while supporting the Head Chef and developing a strong kitchen team.

We offer an achievable bonus scheme, shift flexibility, and a contracted 45 hours per week, plus live-in accommodation if required and family-friendly policies.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a busy kitchen.
• Willing to train and develop kitchen staff.
• Knowledge of Food Safety and Health & Safety compliance.

Responsabilités

• Deliver the food concept to company standard and exceed guest expectations.
• Oversee stock control, ordering, deliveries, and wastage management.
• Support Head Chef and deputise in their absence.
• Train and develop kitchen team to reach potential.
• Ensure compliance with Food Safety and Health & Safety laws.
