Job summary

Bupa's Richmond Village Witney in Oxfordshire is looking for a passionate Sous Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. You will support the Head Chef, contribute to exceptional culinary experiences, and help cater for residents across the Village.

Shifts are Mon-Sun, two patterns 7am-4pm and 10am-7pm with no late nights, offering a strong work‑life balance. Benefits include a comprehensive induction, free meals on every shift, and DBS and uniform provided.

Qualifications

• Passionate about food with experience in a professional kitchen.
• Experience catering for customers with special dietary requirements.
• Open to new ideas, with a calm, organised approach during busy services.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food in accordance with food hygiene regulations.
• Be aware of residents’ dietary needs and respond to menu requests.
• Involved in preparation and serving on the hotplate as required.
• Ensure food is used within its prescribed period, with attention to high-risk items.
• Maintain a welcoming, safe and hygienic dining environment for residents.
• Help maintain a clean and hygienic working area.
