Job summary

Buenos Aires Group is seeking an experienced Sous Chef to join its Wimbledon-based team. You will assist the head chef in leading a kitchen crew, maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation, while upholding rigorous hygiene practices in a busy, high-volume steak restaurant.

You will mentor junior chefs, manage labour and scheduling, and help control costs to ensure financial targets are met. The role demands professionalism and hands-on leadership in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a senior kitchen role, ideally as Sous Chef in a high-volume, quality-led steak restaurant.
• Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Leads with professionalism and a hands-on approach.

Responsibilities

• Assist the head chef to lead and inspire a kitchen team.
• Ensure exceptional food hygiene and safety standards across the kitchen.
