Buenos Aires Group is recruiting an experienced Sous Chef to join its established kitchen, delivering high-volume, quality-led steakhouse dining in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with the Head Chef to lead and inspire the kitchen team in a busy setting.

The ideal candidate will have proven senior kitchen experience, a hands-on leadership style, strong hygiene standards, and the ability to manage costs and stock while mentoring junior chefs.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a senior kitchen role, ideally as Sous Chef in a high-volume, quality-led steak restaurant.
• Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Leads with professionalism and a hands-on approach.

Responsibilities

• Assist the head chef to lead and inspire the kitchen team, creating a high-performance culture.
• Train, mentor and develop junior chefs.
• Oversee daily kitchen operations, maintaining quality, consistency and presentation.
• Manage labour, scheduling, food costs, ordering and stock control.
