Job summary

Marston’s PLC is seeking a Sous Chef to join our team. You’ll be right in the action, acting as second in command to the Head Chef and covering shifts when they’re not on duty.

You’ll assist in managing all aspects of the kitchen, run the line during service, and help develop the skills of the kitchen team while maintaining the highest standards of food and service.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role or as a Commis Chef.
• Ability to run a kitchen line during service.
• Proven leadership and teamwork in a busy pub kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Be second in command to the Head Chef and cover shifts when needed.
• Run the line during service to ensure quality.
• Support Head Chef in managing kitchen operations.
• Develop and encourage the kitchen team’s skills.
• Maintain high standards of food and service.
