Mint People seeks a talented Sous Chef for a prestigious country estate hotel and spa in Skipton. You will join a 1 AA Rosette restaurant team, supporting the Head Chef to deliver seasonal cuisine for restaurant service, weddings, conferences, and large events.

This role suits an experienced Junior Sous Chef orStrong Senior Chef de Partie ready to take the next step. You will lead from the pass, ensuring exceptional standards and mentoring the kitchen brigade.

Competenze

• NVQ Level 2 in Professional Cookery (or equivalent).
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.
• Experience operating in a kitchen delivering high standards.

Mansioni

• Support Head Chef in delivering outstanding food across hotel dining operations.
• Assist with menu development and seasonal dish innovation.
• Prepare, cook and present dishes to high standards.
• Maintain food safety, hygiene and health & safety compliance.
• Monitor portions and minimise waste; keep kitchen organised and clean.
• Assist with stock control and ensure kitchen is well supplied.
• Train and develop junior team members; step in for senior chefs when needed.
