Job summary

Hospitality & Retail Recruitment is seeking a motivated Sous Chef for a bustling gastro pub in Marlow, dedicated to local produce and dishes made from scratch. As part of the kitchen management team you will lead shifts, develop the team, and contribute to main menu and specials, while maintaining high standards of quality and service.

Qualifications

• Thorough understanding of day-to-day kitchen operations in a similar setting.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a happy and positive disposition and an appetite for learning.
• Take sole charge of quieter shifts once trained.
• Answer, report and follow Head Chefs instructions.
• Join in and help inspire the creative process on both main menu and specials.
• Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen team.
• Set up and stock stations and work all sections.
• Prepare food for service.
• Demonstrate knowledge of all menu items and daily specials.

We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and driven Sous Chef to join the brigade of beautiful country gastropub. As Sous you will be working in a top notch gastro pub with plenty of local produce and everything made from scratch on site.
