The Crown Hotel in Boston Spa is seeking an experienced Sous Chef to support the Head Chef in a calm, respectful kitchen that values quality seasonal Yorkshire produce.
You will lead and train the kitchen team, manage ordering, stock control and waste, and help develop menus while maintaining high standards of food safety and presentation. As Sous Chef, you will support the Head Chef with the day-to-day running of the kitchen and help ensure every service is efficient, consistent and enjoyable for both the team and our guests.

Our contemporary country pub combines the atmosphere of a traditional English pub with a modern dining experience. The restaurant, housed in The Stables conservatory, overlooks a beautiful landscaped garden and offers a distinctive setting for guests and colleagues alike.
Our seasonal menu showcases produce from local and regional Yorkshire suppliers, including prime meat cuts and fresh fish. Our offering includes dishes such as beer-battered haddock and chips, imaginative salads, freshly made pizzas and a traditional Sunday roast with proper gravy and all the trimmings.
