Job summary

Heartwood Collection is hiring a Sous Chef in Hale Barns (WA15 8XW) to lead kitchen sections, train staff and maintain fresh, seasonal menus across our branded venues. This permanent, full-time role offers a 48-hour week with paid overtime, TRONC included, and progression opportunities within our hospitality group.

The successful candidate will have 3-4 years of Sous Chef experience, strong leadership, and the ability to manage multiple sections while maintaining high standards across Heartwood

• Proven track record running service from the line and delivering training to chefs.
• Able to run multiple kitchen sections and support the head chef.
• 3-4 years experience as Sous Chef or similar, with exposure to branded operations.

About You:

• Have a proven track record in running service from the line, fresh food cuisine and delivering training and support to chefs
• Able to work on and run any sections in the kitchen team, demonstrate leadership skills and assist the head chef
• 3-4 years experience in a Sous Chef role or similar, preferably with exposure to branded operations and a basic understanding of administration operations
