Job summary

Marston’s is seeking a Sous Chef to join our team in Stirling. You’ll be right in the action, second in command to the Head Chef, and you’ll ensure hot, quality food presented to the pass every shift.

Bring branded kitchen experience, help manage the kitchen, run the line during service, and develop the team. We offer a reliable hours contract, meal deal, discounts across pubs, and a supportive, people-led environment with training and progression.

Qualifications

• Experience in a branded kitchen or similar role.
• Ability to cover Head Chef and manage kitchen operations.
• Experience running the line during service.
• Ability to develop and support kitchen team.
• Passion for maintaining high standards of food and service.

As Sous Chef you’ll:

Be right in the action in our kitchen, second in command to our Head Chef – stepping up and covering for them when they’re not on shift.

• Offer previous branded experience in a similar role or as an experienced Commis Chef
• Assist our Head Chef in managing all aspects of the kitchen
• Accountable for running the line during service
• Oversee, organise, and encouragethe kitchen team - helping to develop their skills
• Be passionateabout maintaining the highest standards of food and service
