Job summary

Marston’s is seeking a Sous Chef to join our team and lead the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence. You’ll be hands-on on the line during service and responsible for delivering high-quality dishes to the pass.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role or as a Commis Chef preferred.
• Assist the Head Chef in managing all aspects of the kitchen.
• Accountable for running the line during service.
• Oversee and develop the kitchen team and maintain high standards.

Responsibilities

• Be in the action in the kitchen, second to Head Chef, and cover when not on shift.
• Ensure hot, quality food is presented to the pass every time.
• Maintain highest standards of food and service.

As Sous Chef you’ll:

Be right in the action in our kitchen, second in command to our Head Chef – stepping up and covering for them when they’re not on shift.

• Offer previous branded experience in a similar role or as an experienced Commis Chef
• Assist our Head Chef in managing all aspects of the kitchen
• Accountable for running the line during service
• Oversee, organise, and encouragethe kitchen team - helping to develop their skills
• Be passionateabout maintaining the highest standards of food and service
