Mint People is actively recruiting Sous Chef professionals for contract catering roles across a variety of venues including schools, canteens, care homes, prisons, and more. You will prepare and cook meals at your station, work closely with the culinary team, and help manage stock and orders while upholding strict food safety standards.

These temporary contracts offer flexible hours, weekly pay every Friday, and pay from £19 per hour, with rates depending on experience and location.

Formación

• Experience as a sous chef in contract catering environments.
• Ability to work across multiple venues.

Where You'll Work

You’ll be working in contract catering environments such as schools, canteens, care homes, prisons, and catering venues. These positions offer excellent career progression, and you'll be a key part of our culinary team, delivering high-quality food and service.

Your Role Includes:

• Preparing and cooking meals in your designated station
• Collaborating with the culinary team
• Stocktaking and ordering supplies
• Maintaining food safety and sanitation standards

It’s ideal if you drive and have your own vehicle, as some venues may be remote.

Rates of pay depend on experience and age. Right to work in the UK and fluency in English are required.
