Mitchells & Butlers Waterside Toby Carvery is seeking a passionate Sous Chef who loves great food, trains people, and leads a kitchen section in partnership with the Head Chef.

You will oversee food ordering, preparation and stock control, ensuring consistent quality and adherence to brand standards while supporting a high-performing team. The role offers visible progression and staff benefits across the group.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a kitchen team.
• Proven ability to train and develop staff.
• Strong focus on food safety and hygiene practices.

Responsibilities

• Be driven to smash targets with your team.
• Train and inspire your team to deliver food to be proud of.
• Support Head Chef with food ordering, prep and stock control.
• Master the branded menu and ensure consistency.
• Manage Chefs and wider Kitchen Team.
