Job summary

Mitchells & Butler s PLC is seeking a confident Sous Chef for Miller & Carter restaurants. You will run a section, train your team and step up in the absence of the Head Chef, ensuring every dish meets our standards and guests leave with a smile.

You’ll lead with passion for steak and great service, manage food ordering, stock control and health & hygiene compliance, and guide your team to work cohesively on a branded menu.

Qualifications

• Experience as a sous chef or senior chef in a busy kitchen.
• Proven ability to train and motivate a kitchen team.
• Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene requirements.

Responsibilities

• Be driven to smash targets with your team.
• Train and inspire your team to deliver food to be proud of.
• Support your Head Chef with food ordering, food preparation and stock control.
• Have mastered the art of working with a branded menu.
• Have confidence in managing Chefs and the wider Kitchen Team.
• Oversee that your team conforms to health and hygiene regulations.

As a Sous Chef at Miller & Carter - Parkhead, you will have a passion for serving great food, training great people and leaving a smile on our guests faces.
