Job summary

EGO - Nuneaton is seeking a passionate Sous Chef who loves great food, training people and delivering smiles to guests. You will run a section and step up in the Head Chef's absence, ensuring your team works as one.

Join a family of premium pubs and restaurants, with a Mediterranean-inspired menu and opportunities for progression. You will be involved in stock control, food preparation and maintaining hygiene standards.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a kitchen team in a busy environment.
• Proven ability to train and motivate staff.
• Experience with food ordering and stock management.
• Familiar with health and hygiene regulations.
• Able to work with a branded menu.

Responsibilities

• Lead a kitchen section and ensure your team works together as one.
• Train and inspire your team to deliver food to be proud of.
• Support your Head Chef with food ordering, food preparation and stock control.
• Have mastered the art of working with a branded menu.
• Manage Chefs and the wider Kitchen Team with confidence.
• Ensure your team adheres to health and hygiene regulations.
