Job summary

Telford Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort is seeking an experienced Sous Chef/Senior Chef de Partie to lead a busy hotel kitchen. You will work hands-on with your brigade, ensuring quality, consistency and presentation to prestigous standards.

Ideal candidates will have hotel or high-volume kitchen experience, strong GP and cost control knowledge, and a passion for training and developing teams. Competitive salary and benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie.
• Worked in a hotel environment or busy high-volume operation.
• Conference, banqueting & events catering experience would be ideal.
• Quality & standards driven with a keen eye for detail.
• People management experience.
• Strong knowledge of GP, stock control, costs and wastage.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example, hands-on in the kitchen, guiding and mentoring the team.
• Ensure food leaving the pass is of the highest standard and to specification.

What will I do?

Leading by example, you will be hands on in the kitchen working alongside your team, providing guidance and mentorship. You’ll ensure the quality and delivery of food leaving the kitchen pass is to spec, to a very high standard and presentable.
