Job summary

Browns Liverpool, part of Mitchells & Butlers PLC, seeks a Sous Chef to lead a kitchen section, train staff, and help the Head Chef manage orders and stock. You will drive quality, maintain brand standards, and contribute to a welcoming guest experience.

Qualifications

• Experience as sous chef or in a senior kitchen role.
• Ability to lead and develop a kitchen team.
• Knowledge of health and hygiene regulations and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train the kitchen team to deliver high-quality dishes.
• Support Head Chef with food ordering, prep and stock control.
• Ensure compliance with health and hygiene regulations across the kitchen.
• Manage Chefs and the wider Kitchen Team to work cohesively.
• Operate within a branded Browns menu and standard operating procedures.

As a Sous Chef at Browns Liverpool, you will have a passion for serving great food, training great people and leaving a smile on our guests faces.
