Beck and Call in Meanwood, Leeds, is seeking a Sous Chef to support the Head Chef in delivering traditional pub classics using fresh ingredients. The role focuses on leading the kitchen during busy periods and upholding high standards.

You will contribute to menu development, costings, and team development, while embracing a fast-paced environment and a positive leadership style in a growing independent pub.

Job description

The Beck and Call kitchen team are looking for a Sous Chef ahead of our busy autumn period and beyond. The venue is situated in Meanwood and offers a traditional variety of pub classics made from fresh ingredients. Our Sunday roasts are also one of the best in the area and its always super busy.

As a Sous Chef at Beck and Call your role is to work alongside the Head Chef, assisting with the kitchen operation, helping develop the team and deliver excellent quality food. You will help lead the kitchen and deliver the same level of standards and leadership as the Head Chef does. You will also have supported input into menu development and costings.

The ideal candidate for us would be:
