Mitchells & Butlers PLC is seeking a Sous Chef for Ego - Shadwell in Leeds. You will have a passion for serving great food, training great people and ensuring guests leave with a smile. You’ll run a section and step up to lead in the Head Chef’s absence.

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy kitchen and ability to lead a section.
• Train and inspire kitchen staff to deliver quality dishes.
• Assist Head Chef with ordering, prep and stock control.
• Operate with a branded menu and maintain standards.
• Manage Chefs and wider kitchen team.
• Ensure health and hygiene regulations are followed.

• Be driven to smash targets with your team.
• Train and inspire your team to deliver food to be proud of.
• Support your Head Chef with food ordering, food preparation and stock control.
• Have mastered the art of working with a branded menu.
• Have confidence in managing Chefs and the wider Kitchen Team.
• Oversee that your team conforms to health and hygiene regulations.
