Job summary

EGO - Dore Sheffield, part of Mitchells & Butlers PLC, is hiring a Part Time Sous Chef to join a team that delivers great food and guest smiles. You’ll run a section, lead the team in the head chef’s absence and help train others while upholding brand standards.

• Experience leading a kitchen team and managing chefs.
• Knowledge of branded menus and stock control.
• Ability to train and inspire staff to deliver high-quality food.

Responsibilities

• Be driven to smash targets with your team.
• Train and inspire your team to deliver food to be proud of.
• Support your Head Chef with food ordering, food preparation and stock control.
• Have mastered the art of working with a branded menu.
• Have confidence in managing Chefs and the wider Kitchen Team.
• Oversee that your team conforms to health and hygiene regulations.
