Job summary

Mitchells & Butlers PLC’s Otter is seeking a Sous Chef with a passion for great food, training people, and delivering memorable dining experiences. You will run a section and lead the team in the absence of the Head Chef, ensuring smooth collaboration and high kitchen standards.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a kitchen team in a high-volume environment.
• Proven ability to train and develop junior staff.
• Good understanding of health, safety and hygiene regulations.

Responsibilities

• Run a kitchen section and lead the team in the Head Chef's absence.
• Train and inspire your team to deliver food to be proud of.
• Support food ordering, preparation and stock control.
• Ensure adherence to branded menus and standards.
