Glendola Leisure's Waxy O'Connor's in Glasgow is seeking a dedicated Sous Chef to lead the kitchen. You will design menus, manage orders and wastage, and help develop the kitchen team while delivering exceptional hospitality.

Qualifications

• Experience in a kitchen role at sous chef level or similar.
• Strong leadership and team-development abilities.

• Place orders, helping to minimise wastage and serving up consistently high-quality dishes.
• Recruit, train and develop the kitchen team, ensuring skills are up to date and opportunities for development are taken.
• Support growth and improvement initiatives across kitchen operations.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As Sous Chef, you'll work closely with the Head Chef to design and deliver menus that meet both customer satisfaction and our bottom line. This will include placing orders, helping to minimise wastage and serving up consistently high-quality dishes. You'll also help to recruit, train and develop the kitchen team, ensuring skills are up to date and opportunities for development are taken advantage of.
